For over 30 years, JONES has served as a strategic organizational change consulting firm. Through a commitment to communication, empowerment, trust, high quality products and services, and innovation, JONES is a recognized global leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion working to develop leaders and systems that counter oppression and leverage diversity of thought and experience to produce overall increased organizational effectiveness.

The firm launched the JONES School of Inclusive Leadership (JSOL) to feature virtual and in-person leadership intensive seminars to empower authentic leaders with the mindset, skills, and behaviors necessary to lead effectively in a diverse environment. Participants will experience a high level of expertise and training to take their careers to new levels. JSOL will prepare you to take diversity, equity, inclusion, and multiculturalism to higher levels in the spaces we influence.

Our mission is to develop leaders and human systems that counter oppression through diversity, inclusion and organizational effectiveness. JSOL Intensives is one part of living this mission as we are committed to developing inclusive leaders.

Being an inclusive leader requires a very specific set of skills that are not explicitly taught in colleges. JSOL connects theory, practice, and lived experiences so that participants understand the importance and urgency of inclusive leadership and gain the skills necessary to become a leader that can recognize, respect, and utilize the full diversity in today’s workplace, which is crucial to an organization’s relevancy and effectiveness. At JSOL, our Intensives will help you discover how to differentiate yourself from others, develop your own leadership style, and put you on the path to becoming a powerful and respected inclusive leader.

Intensives are customized to bring leaders together who share a lived experience, a cultural identity group, and/or professional roles. This allows an engaging and targeted learning environment where specific leadership challenges are explored in space that allows for meaningful connections, honesty (or vulnerability), and deeper reflection.

We keep our Intensives intentionally small (15 participants) to provide you with the most personalized experience possible. Small groups also foster a psychologically safe space to have crucial conversations about race, marginalization, and how to deal with the impact of conscious and unconscious bias. JSOL will prepare you to take diversity, inclusion, equity and multiculturalism to higher levels in the spaces we influence.

Both the in person and virtual intensives will explore:

  • Understanding Self and Leadership
  • Understanding Race, Racism, and the Workplace
  • Understanding Psychological Safety
  • Recognizing and Interrupting Gender Bias & Sexism and Conflict Resolution
  • Becoming an Inclusive Leader
